Some Basic Effects of Nonlinear Optics
摘要
Second- andNonlinear optics third order nonlinear optical susceptibilities are introduced. Basic second- and third order nonlinear optical effects are shortly discussed, including harmonic generation as well as nonlinear absorption and refraction phenomena. The semiclassical calculation scheme for nonlinear susceptibilities is introduced basing on the density matrix approach.
