DNA-Based Secure Image Transmission Framework Using Encryption and LSB Steganography

In the modern healthcare system, securing patients’ sensitive data is essential. To safeguard the patient’s sensitive data in the interconnected healthcare system, various encryption techniques are employed to ensure confidentiality, privacy, and integrity. Safeguarding patient data is critical in today's healthcare systems. This research article offers a multi-layered technique for protecting healthcare data transfer. It employs a DNA-based Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) approach to encrypt data, which is then hidden under a cover image using the LSB (Least Significant Bit) embedding method. Before transmission to the intended user, DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) compression is employed to ensure effective transfer and reduce file size. Once received, the reverse approach effectively extracts the concealed data.
