摘要

Technological development plays a fundamental role in the health sector by contributing to the detection or diagnosis of complicated diseases such as diabetic foot, a condition caused by poor control of diabetes by not counteracting the increase in glucose level, in the case of diabetic foot there is a constant increase in temperature due to a considered amount of agglomerated blood, being a condition that can cause physical disability in patients through the complication of amputation of their lower limbs, likewise, patients with diabetes are more vulnerable to contracting diabetic foot by initially manifesting themselves with calluses or wounds that do not heal due to the consequences of diabetes and that over time causes a greater infection, standing out for its silence and hereditary if its family has had diabetes. In view of this problem, in this research a temperature measurement system was carried out to detect possible cases of patients with diabetic foot applied to university professors, in such a way that the temperature variation greater than 2.2 ℃ can be determined through the superimposition of images that will prevent amputations in the lower extremities of the diabetic patient by applying thermography techniques to identify the variation of temperature between the patient’s feet. Through the development of the proposed system, it was possible to evaluate its functionality with an efficiency of 92.41% in the detection of diabetic foot with high confidence in the context of analyses conducted in adult patients with diabetes.
