You Are My Mountain, I Am Your Community: Rebuilding Nature-Culture Connectivity in Taiwan’s Lishan Areas

Our work looks at the past, present, and future of nature-culture connectivity in Taiwan’s mountainscapes through the prism of Lishan 里山 and Sansheng 三生 concepts. We demonstrate their role in guiding practical efforts of the Community Forestry program and the Satoyama Initiative in Taiwan, summarize the lessons learned, and outline the ways forward.
