Mountain Ethnotourism: A Manufactured Practice of Touristscapes
摘要
Ethnic tourism and cultural tourism are terms that have the same approach and that refer to a unique product, where the main axis is the local indigenous communities, with a particular lifescape heritage (i.e., uses, customs, and traditions) that is shared with the visiting tourists. The analysis of human behavior towards their past environmental management allows for a better understanding of what is manifested in the natural landscape today. Throughout the Holocene, we can identify elements that have progressively sought the development of humans to reach a complex society, but which still contains traits of its past that are implicit in its societal structures, The development of trade and exchange of goods and services between populations and the need to generate different types of resources to satisfy the socio-economic needs of people have led humanity to develop strategies and methods for the use of its natural landscape resources linked to the development of its culture, creating ethnotourism for economic dynamization.
