Landslide Disaster Risk: Refreshing Notions and Terminology in the Context of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction
摘要
The adoption of diverse global frameworks linked to the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), among them, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR), convene a series of commitments and actions that help to strengthen integrated disaster risk management. Bringing together the expertise of transdisciplinary collaboration among interested stakeholders requires a terminology that can deliver messages across disciplines to break existing silos. In this regard, the present chapter aims to refresh the terms needed, not only to discuss landslide hazards. From a more integrated perspective, it seeks to discuss and include all factors and notions involved in configuring landslide disaster risk. This effort intends to support the implementation of the SFDRR to the best of its ability.
