摘要

The purpose of this work is to design, build and program a Sniper Robot, a sniper robot that has characteristics similar to the Observer/Sniper team. The first is dedicated to field information, such as the location of a target and its distance, while the second seeks to triangulate the field variables with the weapon and fire at the target. These combinations of elements are created by the proposed robot, which has a mechanical structure with two degrees of freedom and a set of two Observer/Shooter cameras. The robot is based on capturing video from cameras that interact with an artificial intelligence algorithm to detect and pursue targets. The algorithm chosen for this task is Google MediaPipe, which identifies people and defines a set of points on the human body, which allows the system to center the target in any of that points on the person marked. As a final result, it is expected that through a control interface, a target could be indicated to the Sniper Robot to identify and pursue this target, always centering it on the screen, for possible shootings. This system was developed with the aim of occupying strategic defense positions in militarized regions, replacing soldiers exposed in guardhouses, ensuring a greater coverage area and security through the technology use.
