摘要

Today DNA (deoxyribo-nucleic acid) computing, a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field, provide the inherent computational power of DNA molecules to address complex computational problems. In this research, we provide a detailed overview of the challenges and opportunities in DNA computing, and explain its importance for the future of computation and problem-solving. In this smart era, DNA computing need huge information storage and processing capabilities (of DNA), and holds great potential for tackling computationally intensive tasks that are challenging for traditional computers. This work explores the key aspects of DNA computing’s challenges and opportunities for the future. About challenges, there are few critical challenges in DNA computing like scalability error rates, resource constraints, algorithm development etc., and other few opportunities in the same area like parallel processing, bioinformatics, unconventional computing, quantum DNA computing, nanotechnology and biological sensing, etc. Note that DNA computing stands at the intersection of multidisciplinary like biology, computer science, and nanotechnology, which offer a remarkable future into the future of computation. Hence, with discussing its current challenges and explaining its unique capabilities may lead to useful breakthroughs in various useful domains of today smart era. This work discusses about the importance of DNA computing in shaping the future of computational problem-solving and innovation.
