In this chapter we consider flows of gases in which the density changes significantly between points on a streamline; such flows are called compressible flows. We will consider those problems that can be solved using the integral equations: the continuity equation, the energy equation, and for some problems, the momentum equation.

In this chapter we consider flows of gases in which the density changes significantly between points on a streamline; such flows are called compressible flows.
