Bibliometric Analysis of Educational Data Mining and Learning Analytics Using Scopus Database

This Educational data mining (EDM), being an interdisciplinary domain, employs a multifaceted approach that integrates methodologies and techniques from diverse fields such as information retrieval Data Mining (DM), Statistics, machine learning, etc. It holds paramount importance in leveraging data mining techniques within the realm of education to shape future educational trends for the benefit of educators, researchers, and policymakers in terms of advancement and progress. To impart an all-inclusive understanding of past, present, and provide future research directions for EDM, an extensive exploration of its evolution over time, and a study of both the social and intellectual structure of EDM with respect to the global perspective. The objective of this research study is to examine through bibliometric analysis, the social structure, intellectual structure, and performance analysis of the EDM. This paper covered the 2018–2023 time span for bibliometric analysis.
