Earthquakes and Seismology of the Future
摘要
Earthquakes will not become less frequent in the future. Politicians, seismologists and engineers will have to work hard to predict as accurately as possible what will happen at a given site during a future earthquake, even if we don't know when it will happen. At the same time, seismology is becoming an indispensable part of space research.
