Regional Bioclimatic System as a Basis for Geosystem Monitoring

摘要

The concept of a regional bioclimatic system is presented, which characterizes the climatogenic exodynamic properties of the soil-phytocenotic “core” of natural complexes and represents the scientific and methodological basis for landscape-ecological forecasts. The models of thermal and pluvial niches showed, for both vegetation and soils, that the zonal range of the most stable climatic niches is very broad, evidencing the presence of “cores” (centers) of high potential resistance to the changes in the regional climate. Using the accepted measures of unconformity of niches by temperature and precipitation, it has been revealed that most plant and soil systems must have a coordinated reaction to the changes in temperature and precipitation. This makes the predicted picture of future (or past) conditions of natural ecosystems much more definite. In the course of verification of the models of regional bioclimatic system, it was established that modern middle and south taiga plant formations as a whole are adequate to their soil differences. A model of chain reactions in geocomponent interrelations has revealed a system of regional hydrothermal parameters, which was used further for prognostic modeling in the light of global climatic changes.
