Chondral and Osteochondral Lesions of the Shoulder Joint

Although symptomatic focal cartilage damage to the glenohumeral joint is relatively rare, modern cartilage therapy also has a firm place in the shoulder joint. In this chapter, the techniques of microfracture, chondrocyte transplantation (ACT and MACT), and osteochondral autologous transplantation/mosaicplasty are described in detail.
