Meniscus

All common techniques of modern meniscus surgery are explained step by step in this chapter. In addition to the partial meniscus resection for different tear configurations, all technical variants of the meniscus suture (outside-in, inside-out and all-inside technique) are covered. In addition, treatment strategies for meniscal root tears using transtibial sutures and suture anchor refixation are explained. This chapter is rounded off by artificial meniscus replacement and allogeneic meniscus transplantation.
