Seal
摘要
This chapter recounts how Jorge, Sofia, and Lola created Seal, guided by the primary aim of helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into impact enterprises. I delve into the day-to-day running of the organization by describing its three areas of operation. The acceleration area shapes the entrepreneurs’ experiences, thoughts, and feelings during the program. The investment area provides funding to entrepreneurs. The inspiration area creates a local ecosystem of impact aficionados. I then examine the funding structure supporting these areas and powerfully shaping the division of labor. Finally, I examine the local definition of impact entrepreneurship informing this process, which Seal promotes to produce a particular perspective among entrepreneurs and collaborators. This will provide the foundation for further analysis of the organization and production of work around impact in the following chapters.
