Risk Factors of Recurrence and Metastasis of Breast Cancer Sub-types Based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging Techniques
摘要
This study presents an analysis of breast cancer risk factors, focusing on metastasis and recurrence. Using MRI, we identified variables that could differentiate cancer sub-types, detect recurring cancers, and identify metastasizing cancers. Contrary to some studies, we found no higher incidence of metastasis or recurrence for the Triple Negative sub-type. However, the HER2 type showed a higher likelihood of metastasis. Besides, we used 529 features obtained from DCE-MRI images and identified 21 MRI derived variables as sub-type indicators, 9 as recurrence indicators, and 10 as metastasis indicators. Our findings aim to refine the target and highlight important information, assisting those who use MRI to diagnose breast cancer.
