摘要

In children under five, the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a leading global cause of severe lower respiratory tract infections. Due to medical significance of this problem, the creation of effective vaccines and antiviral medications has become a necessity. To identify potential microRNAs (miRs) that are important for the host’s reaction to RSV infection, we utilized the computational tool miRanda to predict the microRNA-mRNA binding sites. Twelve miRs has been selected and thoroughly investigated by prediction of their binding interaction with mRNA of RSV through molecular docking studies. Our results suggest that miR-6732-3p might be involved in the regulation of transcriptional activity in the RSV infection.
