摘要

Surgeons commonly face ergonomic challenges, impacting comfort and efficiency. This study proposes and evaluates six ergonomic solutions to enhance working conditions. Through meticulous analysis, each solution is examined for strengths and weaknesses. The selection process considers criteria like range of motion, resting capability, sterility ease, risk level, innovation, implementation ease, and production simplicity. The objective is to identify the most effective design across these criteria, addressing crucial ergonomic concerns in surgical settings. This holistic evaluation ensures a nuanced understanding of each solution’s strengths and weaknesses, contributing to optimal ergonomic solutions. The selected design features a harness affixed to the surgeon’s body and a armrest, minimizing constant arm repositioning and significantly enhancing surgical efficiency. Positive outcomes from the prototype affirm the system’s feasibility and functionality. Despite promise, identified limitations include challenges in maintaining static arm positions during body movement and the need for adaptability to varying surgeon weights and heights. Ongoing refinements aim to enhance the system’s effectiveness across diverse surgical scenarios. In conclusion, the selected design shows promise in elevating surgeon comfort and efficiency, addressing critical ergonomic challenges in surgical practice. Further refinements will fortify its effectiveness, contributing valuable solutions to diverse surgical contexts.
