摘要

Administering N2O and IV sedation is an essential component of many dental practices. During the delivery of administering N2O and IV sedation, the armamentarium used is contaminated with a variety of potential pathogens. Proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of the equipment, tubing, ventilation bags and devices are essential to ensure that infectious diseases are not inadvertently transmitted during the administration of N2O and IV sedation in the dental office.
