摘要

This study aims at simulating the effects of turbulent supersonic jet impingement on an inclined flat plate, by examining the pressure distribution on the plate surface. Simulations are performed at the Mach number of 2.2, fixed the jet-to-plate distance, for different plate inclinations. Unlike previous studies, a modern turbulence modelling approach such as detached eddy simulation is followed, while comparing the current results to traditional unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes solution. It is determined that the DES solution is able to predict the correct pressure distribution on the plate, showing a quite good agreement against existing experimental and numerical data.
