Integrating Dual Strengths: A Hybrid Architecture Merging Decentralized Trust with Server-Side Efficiency for Enhanced Secure Transactions

The use of payment gateways (PGs) in conventional online stores’ methods of accepting credit card and cheque payments drives up transaction fees. The fundamental difficulty is in guaranteeing the authenticity of digital payment QR codes and the safety of financial transactions. There are concerns over the security of these transactions and the possibility of phishing attempts in an environment where QR code adoption is trending for digital payments. In this study, we introduce a new “Secure Payment Model” that aims to solve all of these problems. The fundamental goals of this model are to guarantee non-repudiation and transaction integrity from the production of QR codes to the execution of the transaction. The suggested methodology assures the security of electronic payments and avoids the need for intermediary services like PGs by implementing a secure digital signature mechanism. Both the general safety of online purchases and the operational expenses of maintaining such services are greatly alleviated by this. To optimize the financial parts of e-commerce operations and promote trust and security in digital transactions, the secure payment model provides a comprehensive solution.
