Exploratory Analysis from Harmonized Legacy Soil Data to Support Digital Soil Mapping in Brazilian Midwest
摘要
The use of legacy data improve the value of these data but there are well-known problems to use it. Then, harmonization of the legacy data is required before use. In MS State, we found 1430 soil samples of legacy data. The correlations of the legacy data and previous maps of soil, lithology and vegetation reveal the samples distribution, as well as the DEM and slope. The spatial distribution of soils samples follow the soil map units occurrence. The statistical values of DEM and slope are not significantly different between samples and map units. The spatial distribution of soil samples, even they came from diverse databases, can represent the covariates of all area and are ready to be used to produce digital soil maps.
