摘要

In the current scenario, the field of material science has been moving in the direction of nanomaterials because of the vast opportunity it provides for research in different fields. Nanomaterials have been receiving milestone breakthroughs as well as creating new and innovative aspects in the dielectric, magnetic and biological materials for electronics and medical advancement. This chapter covers the in-depth information of the unique physicochemical properties of such materials, there differences from bulk materials, their synthesis techniques etc. which result from quantum confinement and enormous surface area-volume ratio. Here we have studied the dielectric, magnetic and biological materials such as ferroelectrics, ferro magnetics, multiferroics, metal oxides, chalcogenides/dichalcogenides, and carbon-based materials such as CNT, graphene, graphene oxide. These materials have been frequently utilized for such application. In this chapter we discuss mainly theory of dielectric, magnetic and biological materials.
