Recalling the key concepts and central arguments throughout the book and providing a chapter-based overview, this chapter summarises how pseudo-retranslation—as an intertextual, interdisciplinary, and inter-genre phenomenon—contributes to the dissemination of translation-distorted academic knowledge, the corruption of scholarly communication, and the epistemic pollution of an academic ecosystem.
