摘要

The relevance of the issues to be solved is determined by the recently significantly aggravated problem of supplying forest industry resources to certain regions of Russia, including the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). The ecologically and economically available potential of wood resources is no longer sufficient for annual procurement and the heavily depleted forest fund. Not only the financial issues of creating forest plantings but also many organizational, legal, forestry, and environmental ones should be resolved. Under the conditions of the FEFD, the theoretical framework should be developed for the accelerated cultivation of commercial timber with predetermined specifications through reclamation and the creation of commercial timber plantings, where the role of forestry operations is very large. As a result, the more than a century-accumulated experience in studying the development of sustainable forest management principles by domestic foresters may form the ground for solving current problems, including increasing the efficiency of forestry operations. In this regard, the research objective was to justify the forestry operations of the new commercial forestry plantings in the Far Eastern Federal District. Natural-mining man-made systems served as the study object. The practice of performing some forestry operations in the FEFD has been analyzed, involving firefighting, forest health monitoring, and environmental reclamation by bioremediation that contribute to the reforestation and protection of forest plantings and their sanitary and hygienic properties. The authors have developed techniques, the novelty of which is supported by RF Patents.
