Functional and Ecological Approach to the Formation of a Coastal Binhai Park in Harbin

This article examines regional architectural and landscape traditions of China on the example of a conceptual project of a coastal park in the Qiunli district of the city Harbin. The methods, methodology and content of the centuries-old national landscape architecture that forms coastal parks are discussed. After analyzing the wishes, the functional scheme of the park has been developed for citizens of different age groups. Much attention is paid to the requirements of environmentalists for environmental protection and conservation untouched green areas and wetlands. The project of the park on the Sungari River is a gentrified area with a perfectly preserved landscape. After the project is implemented, the park will become a place of attraction for citizens and tourists, a business card of the Harbin.
