Environmental Assessment of the Effect of Fuel Composition on Operating Conditions and Air Emissions from Motor Vehicles
摘要
Due to the growth of vehicles, the number of emissions of exhaust gases and various harmful substances into the air is increasing. This leads to a deterioration in the life and health of the population. The authors are also interested not only in reducing emissions of pollutants into the air, which can be calculated by various complex indicators, but also in considering the efficiency of the engine and improving performance under various conditions. The work carried out experiments using different fuel mixtures with a diesel engine at different loads. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of combined fuel on the environmental efficiency of the diesel engine. As a result of the conducted studies, the values of the optimal injection advance angles of the combined fuel with the content of rapeseed oil from 0 to 60% and the combined fuel with the content of ethanol from 0 to 40% were equal to 26° PCV to WDC and 22° PCV to WDC at which the values of the specific effective consumption of combined fuel ranged from 259 to 321 g/kwh and from 283 to 323 g/kwh, respectively.
