Comparative Assessment of Implementing Modern Ash Extraction Technologies at Russian Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plants
摘要
Fly ash emissions from flue gases for coal-fired thermal power plants are of great importance from the point of view of atmospheric air pollution. Various ash removal technologies are used to reduce them. The purpose of this work was to assess the possibility of using various types of ash collectors to achieve the established technological indicators of ash emissions from solid fuels. For this the technical and environmental characteristics of the most effective ash removal technologies—electrostatic precipitators and bag filters—were compared. A comparative technical and economic assessment of their use for boilers of cogeneration and condensing thermal power plants burning the main Russian coals has been carried out. The costs of their implementation have been determined, as well as the cost of removing one ton of ash from various coals. Recommendations on the use of electrostatic precipitators and bag filters at thermal power plants for various types of coals have been formed.
