摘要
Despite the state of the world during the first half of 2020, the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine was developed, approved, and deployed astonishingly quickly; plagued with resource, supply chain, policy, and morale issues, teams of scientists, engineers, and decision-makers achieved something that will be looked back on by optimists as evidence that we can, when push comes to shove, solve immediate complex problems.
