Research on Reading Promotion Based on Multi-modal Master Guide System – Case of Wuhan University of Technology

The traditional reading promotion model based on offline activities and librarian recommendations has been difficult to adapt to the new needs and habits of readers in the digital age. How to provide targeted and authoritative reading guidance by means of information technology has become an important goal of the transformation and upgrading of reading promotion. Therefore, taking the library of Wuhan University of Technology as a case study, this paper intends to discuss the operation mechanism of multi-modal guided reading by famous teachers and the framework structure of the guided reading system. By analyzing its operation effect, existing problems and countermeasures, this paper provides valuable references for other libraries to carry out guided reading by famous teachers and establish a management system, so as to stimulate readers’ interest in reading and improve national literacy.
