Iris Color and Color Perception, the “Photon” and Quantum Physics

It is crucial to understand the process of color perception and the role of photons, and their interaction with the observer’s eye which causes the perception of color, that best can be described by quantum physics. Also, since photons are interacting with the cellular structures of the iris, the process will belong to the category of quantum biology. It may sound strange to say that there are no colors in the nature. It is just the perception of the different wavelengths that become interpreted by the observer’s brain as different colors. This process of visual consciousness is described here which can best be explained by the laws of quantum physics. The comprehensive description of this process was published by the same author as “Quantum Biology of the Eye, Understanding the Essentials” in 2023. In this chapter we summarize and highlight the important process of the events that gives us the perception of different colors of the eyes.
