The SNHL is the leading symptom in AN, when the tumor grows fast, different neurotological symptoms accompany the SNHL. Calorics and/or HIT evidence SCC losses, otolith disorders follow (Brown et al. 2019). MRI is advised in all sudden HL episodes to exclude AN (Fig. 4.1).
