摘要

The present chapterGiartosio, Laura aims to shed new light on the dynamics of women's participation to university education in Italy in the first half of the twentieth century through the analysis of a significant case: the educational paths, achievements and constraints of the female students and graduates at the “Scuola Superiore di Studi Applicati al Commercio” (High School of Commerce) of Turin since 1906, when this was founded, until the second world war and after. From 1935 this business school became part of the University of Turin as the Faculty of business and economics.
