Academic Research and University Careers of Women Economists During the Fascist Regime

Italian women have given significant contributions to the field of economics throughout contemporary history. This chapter examines the role of women economists during the fascist regime (1925–1945), which was characterized by the theory of corporatism,  and imposed in many different areas, from economic legislation to labour law, from economic policy to population statistics.
