摘要

In a housing estate, 16 new houses are under construction in a 4 \(\times \) 4 square grid. Each house was designed with 1, 2, 3, or 4 floors. The architects paid extra attention to make sure that no two houses with the same height are in the same row or column. Kritor’s family wants to buy a house, so they walked around the estate. Along the way, in certain rows and columns, they noted down the number of visible houses. A house is visible if no taller house obstructs its view. Find the height of each house in the estate.
