Cloud-Edge-End Intelligent Coordination and Computing

With the popularity of the Internet, cloud computing has been continuously developed and evolved for decades, playing its strong resource service capability in various applications and gradually becoming the mainstream computing paradigm. In order to solve the problem of cloud computing away from the data sources and user terminals, edge computing began to rise, and now, sinking the capability of cloud computing to the edge has become an important development trend. However, edge computing is often limited by the computing resources of the edge platform. In order to combine the advantages of cloud computing and edge computing together, cloud-edge collaborative technology came into being. With the development of technology, cloud-edge collaborative technology will inevitably play an increasingly important role in the future Internet industry. This chapter first starts with the introduction of cloud computing and edge computing, then analyzes and discusses the cloud-edge collaborative technology from all aspects, and finally ends with a summary and challenges in the research of cloud-edge collaboration technology.
