The Maximum Principle in Problems of Generalized Optimal Control

The problem of optimality conditions plays a central role in optimal control problems. Well-known optimality conditions in the form of the maximum principle were obtained in the classical control problems in the 1960s, and since then were widely used in solving practical problems and creating numerical optimization methods.
