摘要

One of the most progressive trends in modern science and technology is the development of energy-efficient technologies for synthesis of nanomaterials. Nanolayered graphite (thermally expanded graphite) is one of the key nanomaterials based on carbon. Due to its unique properties (chemical and thermal stability, ability to form without a binder, elastic, etc.), it can be used as an effective absorber of organic substances, the material for seals manufacturing for such important industries as gas transportation, automobile, etc. Thermally expanded graphite is a promising material for hydrogen and nuclear energy industry. The development of thermally expanded graphite production is resisted by high specific energy consumption at its manufacturing and by some technological difficulties. Therefore, the creating of energy-efficient technology for it production is a very actual point.
