Synthesis of Carbon Nanotubes from Products of Conversion of Hydrocarbons
摘要
It presents the results of multiyear experimental and theoretical studies carried out in the Gas Institute of NAS of Ukraine on technology developing of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) manufacturing. New approaches which give the possibility to continuously receive carbon nanotubes on metal catalysts are considered. As the basic technology, it was used CVD process at moderate temperatures in the range of a kinetic-thermodynamic maximum of passing of Bell–Boudouard reaction. Disperse metals obtaining with pre-specified carbon value are underlaid at the basis of elaborated methodology. Products of air conversion of natural gas with strictly controllable hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen potentials were used in a role of reactionary gas from which CNTs were synthesized.
