Effects of UV Radiation in Sunlight on Skin

Sunlight is essential for life. However, overexposure to UV radiation in sunlight can be harmful and lead to different types of skin damage, disorders, and diseases. This chapter briefly describes the detrimental effects of UV radiation on the human skin.
