Calculation and Design of the Support Structure for Lifting Boiler Drum in Thermoelectric

In this work, the results of the research for the development of a gantry-type structure that will be used to carry out the boiler drums lifting in block 2 of thermoelectric company are presented. For this research, the state of the art on the current development of the equipment necessary for equipment lifting of this was analyzed; documents from companies producing related equipment were consulted, including existing ones related to proposed model by the client. Different solutions were evaluated for the correct boiler drum lifting, which will allow selecting the solution appropriate to carry out this task; The support structure that will serve as a basis for all the equipment is defined, applying analytical methods and finite element analysis, the working documentation of this design service was 3d design tools prepared.
