Environmentally-Friendly Lubricating Dispersions Obtained Using Castor Oil and Cellulose Acetate Derivatives Nanostructures
摘要
Traditional lubricating greases are not interesting from the point of view of sustainability. This work explores the chance to replace the traditional lithium greases with gel-like dispersions developed using castor oil as lubricating fluid and nanostructures of cellulose acetate-phthalate, cellulose acetate-butyrate, and cellulose acetate-propionate, obtained via electrospinning, as thickeners. The rheological behaviour of these dispersions is suitable for the aim proposed.
