General Description of Types and Modes of Pacing

There are currently many categories of cardiac device carriers: patients with pacemakers, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and implanted cardio defibrillators. In the last years, His bundle pacing has been widely used because it provides a physiological simultaneous electrical activation of both ventricles. Echocardiographic evaluation of these patients has some particularities linked to the presence of intracardiac leads.
