Artificial Intelligence in Computed Tomography Image Reconstruction
摘要
This chapter outlines the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in computed tomography (CT) image reconstruction. First, the major components of a CT scanner are noted followed by a review of two image reconstruction algorithms, namely, the filtered back projection algorithm and iterative reconstruction (IR) algorithms, and their limitations are described. Finally, the major features of a deep learning (DL) neural network are highlighted, followed by a description of how DL algorithms are use in CT image reconstruction.
