Technology of Testing Based on Mathematical Models

摘要

The study of mathematics at the university is aimed at teaching the student to navigate in any non-standard professional situation, making responsible decisions, including security. One of the progressive areas of pedagogical activity is the quality control of students’ knowledge based on testing. The authors of the article note that the educational function of testing allows not only to conduct an objective assessment of the achieved level of knowledge, skills and abilities, but also has great opportunities for the development of students’ independence. The article describes the main testing functions and analyzes both their advantages and disadvantages. The main purpose of the work is to consider the technology of constructing tests in the study of some mathematical sections and highlight the characteristic features of the methodology for composing test tasks. The paper presents blocks of test tasks on the subject “Second-order curves” that perform a training function. We are also talking about the use of application software packages, which will allow us to study the problem from an analytical and graphical point of view, analyze changes in input data and visualize the results. This makes it possible to evaluate the stages of work, motivating students to activate educational activities, and translates the task into a research plane, giving the student feasible “discoveries” for himself at each stage of training.
