摘要

In communication, radar and radio navigation systems, coaxial resonators (CR) provide high accuracy and sensitivity in measuring various quantities and are used in antenna fairings, as waveguide and radiating structures, cable insulation, radio-transparent windows, etc. The maximum achievable characteristics of devices and systems significantly depend on applied dielectrics in CR. Important requirements for dielectrics in cables, antenna radomes are low values of relative permittivity and very small values of dielectric loss tangent. The purpose of the work is to develop a computational model of the RR of a coaxial resonator with a “shortening” gap for creating frequency-selective devices and filters in communication, radar and radio navigation systems, for which an analysis of the types of coaxial resonators, their designs and calculation methods was carried out. An analytical model of RR has been developed based on numerical simulation with increased accuracy for calculating resonance characteristics. The study used a quasi-stationary lumped-parameter RC approximation, an electrodynamic partial domain method with a multiwave field representation, modeling in the CST Studio Suite 2017 simulation package, and approximations in the Mathcad software environment.
