Implications of the Project for Scaling-Up

This chapter argues that pedagogical innovation for English education is of urgent need in China. Pedagogical innovation, whether it is TBLT or any other idea, must be passed on to the teachers in the right way. It suggests that the existing Teaching-Research Specialist (TRS) scheme should be considered as the primary force in doing this because the TRSs are designed for the purpose of pedagogical improvement.
