Collaborative Teaching and Teacher ZPD

This chapter reflects on collaborative teaching, an approach developed in this study. It discusses how collaborative teaching between the teacher educator and the local teachers created ZPDs in teacher learning and development. It suggests that teacher educators may need to take teachers by the hand in exploring innovation instead of simply telling them what to do.
