The Role of School Leadership in School Based TPD Programs

School leadership is often not considered in top-down centralized teacher training programs such as those in China. As a school-based teacher development project, I found that the school administrators, particularly the principal, have an impact on teacher learning and development. This suggests that school leadership should be considered in teacher development programs for pedagogical innovation like TBLT.
