Jack
摘要
With expanded support we buy a new Silicon Graphics Workstation. A new Ph.D. student, Cary Phillips, joins my lab and explores the capabilities of this new display system. His interests in human–computer interaction and our existing efforts with TEMPUS lead him to program an entirely new interactive experience for manipulating digital humans. He calls it Jack. Within a few years, Jack becomes the premier digital human ergonomics modeling system not directly tied into any specific commercial computer-aided design product line.
